There's a better way to do menopause.
What if you could experience more peace and calm in your life? Let me show you how to get back into the driver’s seat again!
Perimenopause and menopause feel like low tide at the beach where all the muck and sharp rocks are visible. It feels like you will be stuck in the muck of low tide forever.
But low tide is not the end of your story.
This is the moment where a personalized process can help you realize that this is just a transition point.
Getting through it doesn't have to be so hard. When we work with your body's own processes and rhythms, you learn the tools to get out of the overwhelm so you feel more like your vital self again.
To get to the other side you need space and time to reflect on how to calm your nervous system down. This is wanting out but moving in (WOMI). It will help you move through this transition with greater ease.

INTRODUCING THE WOMI METHOD
WOMI stands for: Wanting Out Moving In. When our nervous system calms down it allows our thoughts to settle. When our mind and body are regulated we are able to access our intuition and make better decisions. This is wanting out, but moving in. This is where we will find release and freedom. I will teach you to do this guided meditation, which will help you through perimenopause and menopause as part of both the support group and the 1:1 work.

How This Works
Perimenopause and menopause are physiological responses to hormonal shifts in the body. It is a natural process. The WOMI method will be complimentary to other treatments you may wish to explore, such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and alternative modalities. I can help you sort through all the options to strengthen your ability to discern what is right for you.
Perimenopause and menopause can feel very overwhelming. You may feel so irritable you are looking for a way OUT but the answer is to lean IN. The WOMI meditation practices will bring back the hope in your life.
Learning mind-body skills will help you to stop long enough so the tide can come back in. I will remind you of how you’ve already come through so many transitions, and have the strength to get through this one too.
You will be able to get to the other side. You will be able to see a new cycle of your life. You don't have to do it alone!
I will help you learn practical skills that, when combined with your intuition and innate wisdom, will help you feel better.

When you're ready for an intentional mindful process that will help you to feel more whole, calm and at peace….
When you're done feeling restless, overwhelmed, and maybe even a bit scared….
When you're ready to feel supported in your menopause journey…
“After a lifetime of being able to manage and push through challenges, menopause left me on my ass. I was in completely new territory. I felt like a crazy lady and none of the old tricks worked anymore. Life was going to change, I just didn’t know how (should I move, get divorced, change jobs?). Dr. Murphy helped me navigate these decisions and shifts. I’m so grateful she supported me on my journey inward; with no shame, just pure understanding and helpful intel. She created a protective scaffolding around me that helped me feel less alone. Sometimes I scorched earth, other times I took baby steps backward or forward, either way I had to find my inner guide, which I eventually did. And those gut check choices have led to my crone era where I’m unapologetic and stronger and excited for the future, because it’s finally my vision. It is very personalized work with Dr. Murphy, her program adapts to the individual. You will feel seen and heard and understood, I highly recommend!” — Astrid S.

YOU MAY BE THINKING
“Is going deeper into thinking about menopause going to make me feel worse?”
I understand the worry that this might feel like another overwhelming thing to do. This program is meant to smooth out the rough edges by helping you to figure out where menopause is hitting you the hardest. The mind, body, spirit program will help you to orient to where you are struggling and give you a place to put your energy to bring you real relief.
It may seem like getting into this kind of inquiry is going to open up old wounds and make things worse. But, I will help you to see that now is the time to look at any old stuff that is knocking at your door. We actually have more bandwidth to heal at this stage despite feeling like we have less.
We know ourselves better than ever and we know what we need. If we can get out of our own way and lean into taking care of ourselves, things open up in new ways.
Learning to tolerate the harder emotions gives us greater access to the easier emotions. It gives the barrier more translucence allowing us to see what we need to see.
There is a different rhythm to menopause and it is a startling shift away from our usual monthly cycle. We might feel fine in one moment and feel horrible the next. We might feel more connected to our girlhood self because this is the first time in a long time we have less of the reproductive hormones in our body. You may notice memories of other times of your life rising to the surface.
Many women experience the menopausal time as an existential crisis or time of deep questioning. When we get in touch with our inner wisdom we can feel our spirit and this can guide us to deeper acceptance and peace.

That’s valid. I am trying to address how our perceptions and physical symptoms can become so loud it is hard to remember that we are more than our bodily sensations. I believe that our searching for meaning and purpose can lead to these times of questioning. When we explore what feels true for us, we experience a sense of our authentic self.

WOMI can help you address your most difficult and pressing issues
What if you could shift your mindset from being stuck in low tide to being able to move more freely? What if you knew deep in your bones that this would all be worth it; that you would come through it wiser and more yourself? What if you didn’t have to hold everything together on your own while trying to make these internal changes?
Women intuitively know to seek community in times of change; we often grow in relation to others. We seek connection and a feeling of being less isolated. In menopause we crave a sense of purpose and meaning. The identity issues that surface can be quite intense. This can result in feeling like we are having a midlife crisis. It becomes harder to find our intuition and sense of spirit. I believe that grappling with these existential issues allows us to access a creative mindset. When we tap into our creativity during menopause we also tap into our agency and innate knowing. Creativity brings us back to our internal home and sparks a feeling of joy.
There is a better way to do menopause. This is not the end of the road but rather a crossroads where you will finally get to claim your story. This transformation is one of fully committing to yourself and your process.
